Background

Islamic teachings and scholarship offer profound insights into moral conduct and societal ethics. In today’s world, characterized by rapid change and moral ambiguity, the study of Islam provides a robust framework for addressing contemporary moral challenges. The conference aims to explore the intersection of Islamic studies with contemporary moral challenges. It seeks to delve into various disciplines within Islamic scholarship, including Islamic Education, Hadith Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, and Islamic and Sharia Bank, to address current moral dilemmas. The conference invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to present papers and engage in discussions on how these disciplines can contribute to nurturing faith, knowledge, and ethical conduct in today’s society. It also aims to examine the relevance of Islamic teachings in addressing contemporary moral issues and promoting virtuous behavior.

Sub-theme :

  1. Islamic Education: Exploring innovative approaches to teaching Islamic values and ethics in the context of modern education systems, with a focus on promoting moral integrity and ethical behavior among students. (Code : IE)
  2. Hadith Studies: Analyzing the relevance of Prophetic traditions in addressing contemporary moral challenges, and how the teachings of Hadith can provide ethical guidance in various aspects of life. (Code : HS)
  3. Arabic Language and Literature: Examining the role of Arabic language and literature in preserving and disseminating Islamic moral values, and its contribution to the cultivation of moral consciousness among Muslims. (Code : AL)
  4. Islamic shariah banking and finance: Discussing the foundational principles of Islamic banking, such as fairness, transparency, and accountability, and their role in ensuring ethical conduct. (Code : IF)
